Karns Community Club

The "Event Center (YC) at Lions Club Park" (affectionally referred to by Karns natives as the Youth Center for its original purpose) is a remodeled and rejuvenated multi-functional building that can accommodate about any event at any time of the day. It is commonly used for family reunions, club meetings, business meetings, birthday parties, wedding parties, baby showers, weddings, and memorial services. The rental includes a kitchen with a stovetop/oven, refrigerator, microwave, and double sink. Supplies included with each rental include 4, 32-gallon Trash Bags; 2, 13-gallon Trash Bags; and Hand Wash Soap for each bathroom. A commercial sized ice machine, 22-8' tables and 100 chairs are also provided as part of the rental. There are separate women's and men's rest rooms. The property lies within the Lions Club Park and is adjacent to a very nice and free adaptive playground. A swimming pool operated by the Lions Club also lies just across the parking lot and can be accessed for a reasonable daily fee in season. The Lions Club also rents a nearby in-the-park 800 square feet covered pavilion (www.karnslionsclub.com). The facility is served by its own parking plus a larger parking lot in the park. The locations is 6616 Beaver Ridge Road and is just across Oak Ridge Highway from the Ingles Supermarket and just behind the Karns Fire Station.
